  • After I place an order with you, what is the order confirmation communication I will receive?

    As soon as you place an order with us, we send out an order confirmation email on the email id provided. Once your order is packed and shipped from our dispatch centre, we send you an order shipment email with a link for order tracking.

  • Where is my order processed from?

    Our orders are dispatched from our studio in Muradpur, Ratnagiri or our experience centre in Pune.

  • What is your delivery timeline?

    We aim to get your order to you at the earliest. We ship all orders within 48 hours of order placement and thereafter, our trusted logistics partners deliver across all serviceable pin codes in India between 6-8 working days.

    We serve a high volume of orders during sale periods and it may take us slightly longer than usual to dispatch orders. We're grateful for your patience.

  • What are your delivery charges?

    Our total shipping charges vary between ₹100 to ₹350 depending on the final weight and volume of the package to be delivered. The same will be calculated at checkout.

  • How do I track my order?

    If you have an account with us, simply log in and head to the 'My Orders' section to track your order. If you have shopped as a guest, you can track the order through your shipping confirmation email or the SMS received from the logistics partner.

  • Can I pick my order up from your Muradpur studio or the experience centre in Pune?

    Our studio in Muradpur, Ratnagiri has most of our stock that is handmade in small batches. We are happy to have you, self pick your order from either our Muradpur, Ratnagiri studio or our experience centre in Pune, if we have the desired product in stock. To enquire, write to us at

  • What if my pin code falls under outlier locations?

    We try to deliver to all valid pin codes entered during order placement.

    We also work with India’s largest and most reliable logistic partners for order deliveries. In case your pin code is not serviceable with any of the logistics partners, we get in touch with you to explore other delivery alternatives. We want your order to reach you hassle-free.

    Saturday, Sunday and public holidays are non-business days for standard deliveries and/or dispatches.

    Orders placed and paid for are considered confirmed and cannot be cancelled.

    We are unable to offer refunds if we’ve been given an incorrect or incomplete shipping address, or if there are three failed delivery attempts by our shipping agency and/or the package is refused by the recipient.

    We’re a multi-medium studio. Products made from different materials come with different care and handling requirements. The same can be found on individual product pages for you to refer to before or after shopping with us.

    We accept payments via almost all credit and debit cards, wallets, net-banking and UPI.

  • Do you offer Cash on Delivery?

    Currently, we do not accept COD payments.

  • What are the accepted payment methods for transactions outside India?

    For international transactions, you can pay by –

    • Credit cards – Mastercard, Visa and American Express

    • PayPal

    Presently, we do not ship internationally, but you can make international transactions for the orders to be delivered within India.

  • How do I use credit notes or redeem gift cards to make payments?

    To redeem a gift card or use a credit note, simply enter the unique code provided at check out. If your order value exceeds the gift card value or the credit note, the balance amount is to be paid at checkout.

  • What if my card has been charged multiple times for the same order?

    For any payment glitch, such as multiple card debits at the payment gateway(s) while making a single purchase, get in touch with our support team with relevant screenshots or other information and we will promptly resolve it for you.

    • Credit Note: To apply for a credit note, log in with the same email address to which the note has been issued

    • Gift Card: A gift card cannot be used to purchase another gift card.

    • Gift Card: A gift card cannot be cancelled or modified after order placement. Please ensure that you enter the correct details of the recipient.

    • Multiple gift cards and credit notes can be used together to pay for a single order. The same credit note can be used until the balance is exhausted.

    • No two vouchers can be clubbed. However, you may club a voucher with a credit note or a gift card.

    • Validity of credit notes, gift cards and vouchers cannot be extended.

    • If the payment was made using a credit note or a gift card, a refund (if applicable) against the purchase will be in the same form.

  • What taxes am I charged?

    The prices displayed on our website are inclusive of GST.

    The following GST calculations currently apply to different product categories -

    1. Stoneware (ceramics) and Earthenware (terracotta) - 12% GST

    2. Paper Mache and Bamboo - 5% GST

  • What is your exchange and return policy?

    All of Olee Maatee’s products are handmade by our artisans, one piece at a time, making each piece unique. Due to this process, a slight variation may occur between products that are not regarded as a defect. Digital screens too are calibrated differently and colours, while may be close, may not be 100% accurate.

    We strive to make every purchase made with us a seamless experience. We also take great care while delivering our products. If you are not happy with your purchase, here are options for return or exchange.

  • Is my purchase eligible for exchange, and how do I exchange my purchase?

    Every exchange request is treated as an individual case.

    Your purchase is eligible for exchange only if it meets the following conditions –

    • The product you received has a genuine manufacturing defect or is damaged. If you feel the product is damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please do take a photograph of the same as soon as you have opened the packaging and email it to us at not later than 3 days from the date of delivery.

    • An incorrect product has been delivered to you i.e. the product does not match the item in the order confirmation email. Please take a photograph of the same as soon as you have opened the packaging and email it to us at not later than 3 days from the date of delivery.

    Please ensure you include the following details in your email while initiating an exchange.

    Any exchange initiated after 3 days from the date of delivery will not qualify for an exchange.

    Considering the nature of our products, we reserve the sole discretion we deem fit to solve a particular case. Under certain circumstances, only if we are unable to provide you with a replacement against your ordered product, we will notify you and thereafter process a refund.

    After your exchanged request qualifies, we communicate the same to you and schedule a reverse pick-up from the same location as the address of delivery within 3-4 business days. We request you to not ask for a different address for pick-up and/or exchange delivery.

    Please ensure that the product returned is in the state you received it – unused. Please repack the product in the packaging received including product tag, order invoice and any other original document accompanying the product.

  • When will I receive the exchanged product?

    Once the product picked up reaches our warehouse, the replacement product will be shipped out to you and will reach you in our standard delivery time i.e. 8-10 working days.

  • Can I return my order?

    Our products are packed with great care before shipping them out. Due to the fragile nature of our products, to minimise handling and to ensure that all our customers get fresh ‘out of the studio’ products, we do not offer returns on any products which are delivered in perfect condition as per the order placed.

    Before accepting the delivery, please ensure that it is in good condition and has not been tampered with.
